God’s commission to His church to preach the Gospel to all the world is not conditional on response.  Sin hardens hearts, so when sin abounds as it is in the last days, it will affect whether and how people choose to respond to God’s Word.  In Israel’s and Judah’s history--and how they responded to the prophets’ warning message--we see parallels to today’s world.  God’s Word, though, will prosper in the purpose for which it is sent.
